Chin Kar Lok in pinyin

Postby p.i.klein » Wed Nov 23, 2005 6:27 pm

錢嘉樂
Chin Ga Lok
Qian2 Jia1 Yue4

is Yue4 when it means music and le4 when it means cheerful, happy.
Because they are using LOK in Cantonese I think the pinyin must be le4 (but I can be wrong).

You are right.

It can be lo4 or le4.

But we the editors can change movie romanizations, not person romanizations. You must open this topic in the other forum, as I told you.

I will soon be allowing the changing of people romanizations as well, but we do not want to see them changed unless there is absolute certainty of the pronunciation--most especially in the case of characters having multiple pronunciations.
