The entry for Chang Cheh's 'The Pirate' starring Ti Lung can be more specifically improved. I think you can do better than the generic 'pirate leader'. It should read 'Chang Pao Tsai', the name of turn of the century historic China's most famous pirate played by Ti Lung in this film. I'll leave it to you crack editors to follow up for me since I'm not registered as an editor and don't know how to edit anyway on the database.

Another HK Kung Fu indie on this hero's life was also filmed in the 70s, title & names escape me. Last year, Chow Yun Fat was reported to have been cast as Chang for one of the sequels to Verbinski's 'Pirates of the Carribean' with Johnny Depp.
