Added prod., prod. manager, assist. dir., phot., music, editor, and art dir.

The former editor of this film did a great job with the cast, he added almost all of them.

Added three actors. All three are at the image at the hkmdb with Liu Chia Liang and Lau Kar Wing.
The movie looks interesting. Is the movie worth seeing?

I think it was worth a view for the $4.99 it cost me. Bear in mind, I have a low entertainment threshold.

Patrick Tse and Siao Fong Fong get tangled up in a gang rivalry. In addition, the pair are at odds with each other, too, as they also try to recover a missing briefcase stolen from one of the gangs. So, there's a lot of brawling and fortune reversals involved among all the competing parties. Siao Fong Fong shows off a lot of skills, such as the scene where she disarms a pair of gunmen, that's quite entertaining. The actual storyline was a bit confusing for me as to certain whys and wherefores as my Cantonese is not that good. But the overall fun factor was sufficient for me.

Thank you for the information about the movie. I buy the VCD.

You know other new DVD/VCD releases (especially movies with Liu Chia Liang and Tong Gaai) who are recommendable (good action, good story)?

Have you seen Lady Black Cat Strikes Again? Also, Treasure Hunt - Cheung Ying Tsoi tries to leave a gang and settle down with his wife Nam Hung. He gets sucked back in. My brief review: http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/reviews.mhtm ... ay_set=eng
Aftermath of a Fire I,II - an old fashioned martial arts film
(LKL and TG don't appear in these, as far as I know, only direct the action.)

MK, or anyone else, can you confirm the photo of Tong Gaai I've just posted as his portrait? I'm still having a hard time identifying Tong Gaai, frankly. Thanks. It's from Standard Husband and he actually has some dialogue but it's not an action film, though he punches out a few people as Lam Fung's protective brother.

Thank you again for the information.

The image looks like Tong Gaai for me.

If you want to see him in action you must check out "One Armed Swordsman" (Liu Chia Liang's partner in crime), "King Eagle" (tries to kill Ti Lung at the villlage) and "Return of the One Armed Swordsman" (one of the main villains). It must be possible to do more Tong Gaai images with that movies.

Thanks for confirming, Michael. Been meaning to upgrade my old bootleg vcd of ONE ARMED SWORDSMAN for awhile and also pick up RETURN. But I'm not a big wuxia/martial arts films fan, in general, so most of the big 'names' of the genre completely escape me.
