The YANG FANG affair

I think on the db there's a lot of confusion about a couple of actors and directors with similar name. I think we'll have to check deeper the situation and see if we have to do some correction.


1. I think we should merge these two persons:

This entry have just one credited movie, When the Clouds Roll By. I saw it and in my opinion the actor is Yang Fan (1).

(ONLY SPEAKING FOR CONFIRMATION, BUT WITHOUT TOUCHING NOTHING)
1.It seems correct to me, I don't know why somebody divided that entry. (The biography is empty...)

2.That's correct too. According to Chinchanchung Hong Kong Film Archive Book, the actor of these films is one of the Yeung Fan (1-4) 揚帆 , but not Yonfan 楊凡. I think somebody here mistook his symbols. Also "Young Hero of Shaolin" was directed by one of the Yeung Fan (1-4)揚帆. His filmography in http://www.dianying.com/gb/person.php?personid=YangFan seems more correct...

3.Maybe... maybe not. That's another story which has to be investigated separately.

4.If Mr.Dleedlee does not touch that topic in one week, I will do it for him, so don't worry.
