Stephen Chiau/Shaw Brothers

I've noticed that a fair few titles from the Chiau Sing-Chi back catalogue have been turning up on the Shaw Brothers' remasters list. I'm curious about this. None of these films were Shaw Brothers films, were they? What's the deal?

Mona Fong's Cosmopolitan Films were a subsiduary of the Shaw Studios; all titles made under the Cosmopolitan banner reverted to Shaw for copyright purposes.
