We have this direct-to-video movie listed as a 1990 release, and even the HKFA notes a 1990 release year, but I believe this is wrong for several reasons:

1. the copyright year at the end is 1993, and it received a Mainland release permit in 1993 as well
2. the filming company is Wong Jing's Workshop, which was incorporated in 1991
3. the Mei Ah laserdisc is numbered ML 402, and since this is a direct-to-video movie produced by Mei Ah, that must have been its first release. Numbers ML 399 through ML 401 are Hong Kong Eva and All Men Are Brothers — Blood of the Leopard, 1993 releases, and a 1992 release, Ladies Killer

I haven't seen this movie, so this is just speculation, but I guess someone might have assumed it was released in 1990 since the first shot is of a banner that has 1990 written on it. I think the facts I listed are enough proof to change the year to 1993, but we could conclusively settle it if anyone has a copy of the Mei Ah VCD release of the movie, since the back cover has the dated censorship certificate reproduced on it.
