Newspaper ads from the HK theatrical run indicate the English title is A Mother Remembers. This is the primary English title used by the HKFA too, which only records A Mother's Tear [sic] as a 'translated title'. A Mother's Tears was used in a HKFA press release - does anyone have a better source for that title?

The title on the poster, in the newspaper ads, and even on the flyer from Singapore we have in the images are all Gold Diggers. The HKFA only records Gold Diggers. Why is the primary title Midas and what is the source for it?

There are a ton of old (50s/60s) movies with these title issues in the DB.

Films with IDs this low were almost certainly part of the database's initial build when it was carried over from the original database (based on Ryan's research) 22 years ago. Those sources are uncertain and are subject to possible error.

Like anything in the database, it is subject to change when primary source evidence indicates so, or a preponderance of the secondary source evidence suggests so. Nothing is sacred here.
