'Filmline Enterprises' is by far the most common name. The 'Valian Film Company' name appeared on only one film.

I am pretty sure yukabacera is capable of performing all of these merges in his threads of the past week.

Unless an original poster is specifically asking someone else to do a merge on their behalf, the original posting editor should generally perform the merges. It is good practice for every editor to do merges.

And just to remind the new editors: for any editor performing merges, remember to follow the general approach of calros and other editors here and provide some lead time, and then post the completion of the merge.

I am still considering the technical feasibility of automating merges.

From my experience, for a new editor, it is very difficult merge images from different companies, and merge Chinese names in the Chinese display, etc.

I think Mr. Yukabacera should wait 1 or 2 years before doing "level 2" merges.

In my humble opinion, of course.

In theory, I wouldn't mind doing merges myself, although I would have to learn how to delete a page. However, I find the practice of waiting 15 days to be more than excessive for most small-scale merges. If calros doesn't mind keeping track of all the merges the other editors (including me) post, I would rather he do it.

Alright, this sounds fine. I just want to keep us all on the same sheet of music and playing in harmony.
