I just obtained the following eight 5" x 7.25" movie booklets:

The Greatest Civil War on Earth (1961) MP & GI

Sun, Moon and Star (1961) MP & GI
Venture of the Lady Musketeer (1961) MP & GI

What I'd like to know is, how many of the 32 pages from each
magazine can I or should I scan in?

You can scan all the pages but remember:
Usually not all the pages of the booklet belong to the same movie.
Some images maybe are already in each entry.
It is not necessary make scans so big (although this is not a rule).
The images must be cropped by the margins / edges.

Thanks for the guidelines, particularly regarding excluding images from other films.

The image I uploaded was just a straightened and cropped version of the online seller's photo.

I intend on scanning the pages rather than photographing them.
