One of his aliases is Kang Chia, but bio says Kang Chia(Jia) is his brother.
Born as Dong Chuan-Yuan in Tainan, Taiwan; Chuen is also known as Kang Jia. His mother is Dutch, and his younger brother Kang Chia was a boxer and later joined the showbiz.

But who is Kang Jia/Chia? Is the "younger brother Kang Chia" a) referring to Tung Li, b) another brother, or c) it just a typo and really Chuan Yuan?

I GUESS it is a mistake and with "his younger brother Kang Chia" they mean Kang Hua (Tung Li). Kang Jia and Kang Chia should the the same.

Tung Li is listed as Kang Hua/?? in his early credits (Shaw Brothers) and Chuan Yuan in some of his Shaw Brothers movies like DOUBLE BLISS and GOLDEN KNIGHT as Kang Chia/Jia ??.

I checked my THUNDERBOLT FIST DVD and in the English version of the bio is the mistake with Kang Chia/Jia, but in the chinese version is Kang Hua listed as brother of Chuan Yuan/Kang Chia. Corrected now hkmdb bio.
