Regarding this, the HKFA indicates (for Stand Up and Cheer aka The Film World's Merry Song) that it is A commemorative production to mark the 25th anniversary of Hsin Hwa [...], meaning its first release must have been in 1958. However, I've verified that there really was a movie with the same Chinese title released in 1953, The Very Best from Show Biz, which had a different cast. So, the merge should be undone. I can't seem to add the title, year etc. back to the old entry (http://hkmdb.com/db/movies/view.mhtml?id=1791) - bkasten, is there any way you can restore that page?
