Same person??

The latter has only one film credit, and it's from Taiwan, where most of the former's movies were shot as well. Might need stronger verification than that, but the name spellings are somewhat similar.

Turns out, Chan Han is Chang Chen's brother. They even played brothers in A Brighter Summer Day (and Chang Kuo-Chu is their real father -imdb). So, Chan Han s/b changed to Chang Han, besides which 'Chan' is a different character altogether anyway.

I think you are possibly right, that they are the same persons, just slightly different radicals in the two names. But,

At the very least, it looks like we've got an unnecessary alternate Chinese character for Han in "Chang Han's" listing that is keeping these two separate when they should be merged, plus as you mentioned, a completely incorrect transliteration of his family name as Chan in the other listing.

Chan Han -> Chang Han.
