There is no character named Smartie in this movie. The villain is called Lap Ling. Is this a loose translation ? Barring objection, I shall change this character name soon.

She is in many Shaw Brothers movies, most times as extra. Unfortunately I started not long ago to do a list with her appearences.

Like I mentioned I'm working on her ID at the moment. Her name must be Fong Yue (listed with two different spellings of Yue in four movies with the actress, in one her name is Mrs. Fong and in all she has good roles).
Now I have to watch this week "Mr. Possessed" with a third version of the name Fong Yue in the cast list.

I watched yesterday "Mr. Possessed" and the old lady of our images appear (as Ah Yu at the waiting room of the fortune teller). Now I’m quite sure that her name is Fong Yue.
The movies with name (with alternate spellings of the Yue character) and actress:

Joy to the World (as Mrs. Fong, good role)

Okay, it looks like we have enough evidence to merge
Fong Yue (1), (2), (4) and (5).

Someone (Michael ?) has added her picture to (4).

I have definitely spotted this lady in World Of Treasure, as well as POTS, Shogun And Little Kitchen, and Water Tank Murder Mystery (Fong Yue appears in the acting credits, though I can't recall under which characterization).

Further, Fong Yue with the same characterization as in WTMM is also credited in Fake Pretty Woman.

Okay Michael, you may do the update honours, unless anyone has firm objections. Hooray !
