My favorite movie in the 2004 Toronto Film Festival was the Korean film Bin jip, aka 3-Iron, directed by Kim Ki-duk.
Others must have also liked it because I heard that it was picked up by a North American distributor.

I think it also won a prize at Venice, too. The review I read was very positive. I'm looking forward to a video release.
