His nickname “Boo” (บู๊) originated from bold exploits during his school years. A YouTube video mentions he was quite the “rebel leader” during childhood in Japan and Taiwan .
Rose to fame as a character actor, especially playing “sīa” (เสี่ย—a wealthy villain) and comic antagonists in films and TV dramas . Breakthrough role: starred in “Hotel Ghost” (โรงแรมผี) in 1965 (BE 2508).
Acted in many films through the 1960s and 70s, often typecast as shady gangsters or rich bad guys. He even directed and hosted TV shows – for example, hosted “Asa Pa Pai” on Channel 9
Married to Dolaya Wibunnan (ดลยา วิบูลย์นันท์), with whom he had four children (three sons and one daughter)
One of his children is Boat Patinya Wibunnan (โบ๊ท–ปฏิญญา วิบูลย์นันท์), a well-known actor today
Passed away on March 25, 1997, at age 60, due to a sudden heart attack while in a car after returning from a land inspection in Pathum Thani. His funeral was held at Wat That Thong in Bangkok .
Remembered as a prominent figure in Thai entertainment, known for his villainous and comic roles .
