Oh to be an ad man! The high-gloss world of agency advertising once again proves fertile territory for softcore couplings in this slightly better-than-average erotic drama, no doubt so because of the presence of one of Japan’s absolute top hardcore A/V starlets, Madoka Ozawa. Ace marketing man Jimmy Wong risks his lukewarm relationship with photographer Rebecca Tong for a freewheeling obsession with sensuous office assistant Ozawa, a sexually confident wildcat with an ulterior motive that can only come to fruition, apparently, because the company’s video editing suite is equipped with SEVERAL surveillance cameras (!). Alright, so there’s a little contrivance going on here, but there’s still much to enjoy, not least of which is Ozawa, who bares all a number of times, though her activities here might disappoint those more inclined towards her more . . . penetrating body of work. For those keeping score, Rebecca Tong also disrobes for a steamy shower scene with Wong before their relationship takes a turn for the worse. Quality low-budget production creates a plausible professional environment in which the relationships and sex play can unfold, as well as a sex-free subplot involving Wong’s hairstylist pal Raymond Tso, who woos the girlfriend of mobster Ben Ng.

Summary: All Points Bulletin

Movie about a guy (Keith, played by Jimmy Wong) who's madly in love with his live-in girlfriend (Wai, Rebecca Tong), very frustrated that she rejects his marriage proposals in favor of her career, yet who falls in lust at first side with the new girl in the office (Nancy Lee, Madoka Ozawa). He wastes no time jumping into bed with Nancy, who is not happy to find out after they've done the dirty deed that he has a girlfriend. But later, it appears she doesn't mind because she begins to pursue him wherever he is.

Keith, who seems to be in love with Nancy, still has feelings for Wai, as evidenced by the jealosy he experiences when he thinks his friend has seduced her. Which leads one to question his sanity, as Madoka is much hotter.

There, I've just put more work into describing the plot than someone did writing it.

Of course, there's only one reason to watch a movie like this, so let's get started. Madoka is beautiful and reveals all three points. Rebecca reveals a great body. The sex scenes are filmed nicely and there's no violence or weirdness, but there isn't enough of them; we're left watching the dumb movie too often. I had to laugh sometimes because Jimmy Wong will be going at it hot and heavy with one of the girls, but then I'd look at the alignment and realize what they're doing is physically impossible; I think once there was about four inches between them!

As for Jimmy Wong, there's a positive and a negative to being him. The positive is that you get to get your hands all over some of the most beautiful women around. The negative is that you have to look like Jimmy Wong.

This is a decent Cat III movie if, like me, you don't like violence intruding into the sex. The sex scenes are good, but it would have been better if there had been more or they'd been longer; the plot development-to-sex ratio was a bit off. I didn't like it nearly as much as The Fruit is Swelling, but it's not a total waste. I can't believe I wrote so much about it, but I'm frustrated by the lack of information out there on "nice" Cat III movies, so I'm trying to make up the deficit.

Summary: Having sex on a video edit suite while a tape is in is ill advised.

eith is a faithful boyfriend and friend to David, who is a hairdresser
and womaniser. David reckons Keith should fool around more, but
Keith loves his girlfriend and wants to be faithful.

At work Keith is sexually harassed by an older woman who wants to
have an affair with him (which is broadcast all over the office
when Keith sits on the button), but he won't have anything to do
with it until a new girl arrives in the office, Nancy Lee.

She catches his eye immediately and she is just as interested in
him. He starts following her, but she turns up at his house and
asks him to hop into her van. A parking attendant is surprised with
the outcome...

I'd go on with the plot, but there is no point as half an hour into
the movie it turns into a soft porn film (that was the idea from the
start).

Not all Hong Kong movies are about people kicking each other in the
head. This movie proves HK movies can match anything Hollywood has
to offer in smut at least. (At least people who like looking at
naked Hong Kong women would love it.)

Summary: Sex soapie/comedy of only minor interest

The nude/sex scenes are not bad, and the one near the end where Keith and Nancy are videotaped is quite beautiful. But there is not nearly enough sex or nudity, and it's very noticeable when there's little else of interest, as is the case here.
The plot description from NEXT reads more like the writer/director's original intentions than the actual result. Nancy reveals late in the film that she has been setting Keith up, but her motivation is never explored or even mentioned. Director Otto Chan would have benefited from passing his script over to someone else to develop a bit more (or a lot more !). There are many hanging threads and quite a bit of waste, and nothing is really resolved by the stupid and "cute" ending.
Overall : watch it only to pass the time.
