This is an early gung fu comedy starring Wong Yu playing a wannabe bounty hunter named Gao Chai. After the capturing of several outlaws fails to bring any silver to his pocket, Pei Gao Chai sets out to capture a wanted criminal named Hu Lang (Wilson Tong) with eyes on a big reward. Knowing that he can't capture the deadly Hu Lang alone, Gao Chai asks other bounty hunters to help him. One by one, all of them die leaving Gao Chai with nobody to turn to. While walking around in town, Gao Chai finds inspiration at the market place in the form of an eel. So what does he do? He goes out and teaches himself "Eel" gung fu. With this new technique mastered and some dirty underwear, Gao Chai goes out to capture Hu Lang.

Summary: Poor start, pretty good finish

The film starts out as a very weak comedy with embarrassingly-awful stop-motion fight choreography. However, things improve, and by the half-way point, the story becomes involving and the fight scenes flow much more smoothly, though the comedy is still pretty lame.
Pretty good overall, with some great fu and sword fights.
