The Invincible Fist

Above average martial arts film with a good role for Lo Lieh and some great cinematography. In 1969 it was probably quite special, and it might have made more of a splash if Celestial had released it earlier. For the seasoned Shaws viewer in 2005 though, there's nothing in particular that makes the film stand out from others you'll have seen before.

Summary: The invincible fist uses a sword

Nothing special here in this SB movie, the action is average, though the villians are a little different.

Its good to see Lo Lieh as a good guy but the lead appears to be Li Ching, who is in roughly one third of the movie. Its a minor role and a very undeveloped one. If they did have a little more focus on her character then maybe the ending would have more of an impact

David Chiang in a supporting role does little in his minor role apart from fighting.

In fact the movie is just fighting, fighting until the end where it tries to add a little drama. A little too late by then

Lo Lieh is the invincible fist but always uses a weapon when he fights, so much for that!!
