Summary: Tepid ripple

As I've said many times, light 70's Taiwanese romances aren't my thing, although I'm quite happy to gaze at La Brig in anything, including the torturous ChungKing Express.

However, even as a romance, this film is a complete misfire. Lin manages to get mildly annoyed at Chin a couple of times. They hang out with a group of earnest young students at University, go camping and happily join a singalong around a nighttime bonfire, and that's about it. Even the bonfire doesn't generate sparks, let along Lin and Chin. Yawn.
