Reviewed by: ororama Date: 04/30/2023 A young woman begins training with a martial arts master after an invading army sacks her village and kills her grandmother. The middle section shows how the general in charge of the region uses his authority to satisfy his sexual desires, first pursuing the heroine and later forcing her neighbor to become one of his concubines by arresting her father. He is constantly surrounded by 4 young women lounging around wearing only bras and briefs, two with bobbed hair, creating a surprisingly modern sense of decadence. The liberation of the captives could have used longer, more detailed fights, although it was interesting that the Red Heroine traveled by flying, beginning and ending her flights by disappearing/appearing in a puff of smoke. Reportedly the only surviving episode of a 13 part serial, it works fine as a stand alone story.
