Summary: Everything you love in bad Chinese cinema!

Cheap, contrived and laughably overacted police thriller places Taiwanese supercop Ko Keung in the middle of a nasty streetwar between gangs of arms dealers in Kaoshung. Takes contrivance to new heights when Ko discovers the woman whose father he accidentally killed in pursuit of one of the gang leaders ten years prior is also the mother of his illegitimate child, who’s now dating the Filipino-Chinese hitman (Eddie Chan/Ngaai Dik) brought in by the very same gang leader to kill off the competition! Almost worth watching for horribly-staged sequences like the flashback in which Ko’s wife, apparently happily resigned to her fate as the spousal unit of a supercop, valiantly leaps into the air and takes two fatal slugs aimed at her husband as they frolic down a waterslide with their young son in an otherwise empty amusement park!
