I definately agree about Yuen Biao, I saw 'On The Run' expecting a different film, what I saw was simply amazing. It was definately one of those films that kicks you in privates and when the credits I rolling all you can say is "Wow".

I think that chiang kam was one of the most underated actors ,he was a hero in action comedy films and also in a few serious roles i´ve seen him,his performance was one of a kind. it´s sad that there are no informations about him and that he´s mostly not credited in the cast/crew informations, even not when he had a bigger part in some movies like "Fast fingers" or "Kid from Kwantung.

Not so very underrated, but Kent Cheng defenitely needs more credit for the fantastic actor he is.

I know him from some TV series and remember he mostly did funny roles or supporting roles. I read from the internet that he's moved to Australia over 10 years ago.

Ruby Wong. Underrated and underused.

Jan Lam, much better than most credit him to be.

i don't know whether i should write on dead topic or not, anyway I'd say Kent Cheng,Ray Lui and Lin Wei are underrated actors.

It was nice to see Ray Lui return to form as the villain in FLASH POINT. A bit disappointing to see him turn up in so-so material like THE PRETTY WOMEN afterwards, but I guess he's gotta pay the bills somehow!

Teresa Mak--often as the sidekick/best friend to the star (several tims to Shu Qi or Jade Leung), part of an ensemble or as the star of really bad movies.

She most definitely deserves better, has aged beautifully and is a much better actress than she's been given the chance to prove to a wide audience in many years. Would love to see her get a meaty role in a mainstream Hong Kong picture after all those years toiling in the B's. :(

EDIT: Fixed. Retracted.

The late Lung Fong (Jimmy Lee) always struck a chord in me. He definitely was a talented actor. He will sadly be missed.

I am loving Roy Cheung. He's absolutely awesome in Infernal Affairs 2 without a single line of dialog. Also good in Exiled, as well as in his numerous triad roles from the 1990s. Plus easy on the eyes. ; p

Wow some excellent posts. Teresa Mak is definatley under appreciated. While i woul;dn't call Kent Cheng necessarily under-rated I think he is an excellent actor. I guess he is under rated now that i think of it.

Shing Fui-On. By no means a great actor, but he has legitimate comic talent, and it gets completely ignored under all the "Man, he's so ugly" characterizations.
