That's a nice looking screen capture... what DVD release is it from? Can't be the old HK release!

Really? That's the one I had... don't remember it looking that good! Perhaps that frame just encodes well :)

Not sure if powerdvd does any post processing - as far as I can tell its only doing de-interlacing, that could be why.

If you have "Cyberlink Eagle Vision" enabled it boosts the colours quite dramatically... could be it... or maybe the DVD is just better than I remember :)
