Remember it was even screened in German TV maybe in 1990, but many jokes maybe were lost in translation.
So it was no big sucsess for the ambitious, little alternative German distributor, who specialized on Art-House.
But I suppose it was made in 1988, since we all know what happened in Beijing 1989 during spring and summer..
