Korean VHS's of the classic Golden Harvest films.

Hey all,

I'm trying to find information about the 'typical' releases on Korean VHS of the old Golden Harvest films. Some of you may know of the label 'SAEKYONG'. Has anyone had a chance to view any of their releases, and am I likely to find them to have the original duel Chinese/English subs burnt into the prints.

Many thanks.

The producter "saekyong" is an old VHS printer which is currently obsolete now in Korea. As far as I know, Saekyong co. is a branch of foreign film distributer in 80's and early 90's. I heard the owner of Saekyong is a Korean well-established film director and producer who passed away about 1995. After his death, his company has stopped its business and possibly consigned all its rights and relates to other major media producer. However, some old prints are still available via Korean local VHS market. It's really hard to obtain Saekyong prints unless you personally visit the Korean flee market.
