Biography
 
  Shu Shi, brought up in Shanghai, studied in Shanghai's Fudan University. He studied under Mei Lanfang, the great Peking opera performer...His career effectively ended during the Cultural Revolution and he has remained inactive since. (Quoted from HKIFF)
