Biography

	One of the first non-Japanese to earn black belts in karate, judo, kendo, and aikido after training in Japan during his time in military. Founded the Japan Karate Federation of America and was in the Black Belt Hall of Fame. Succumbed to bone cancer on November 14, 2007.
