HKTB: Chun started to write scripts at the age of twenty and directed his first film �For My Country� at twenty three. He was made famous by his production �Fishermen�s Song of the South Sea�. In 1955, Chun founded Kong Ngee Co., which gave the Hong Kong cinema a plethora of stars and directors � Patrick Tse Yin, Ka Ling, Nam Hung, Kong Suet, Keung Chung Ping, Chor Yun, Lung Kong etc. Chun directed over 60 Cantonese and Mandarin films of many different genres � romantic dramas, horror movies, thriller, suspense movies and aldo comedies. He wrote the script of as well as directed most of his films. The most well known among his works are Cantonese films �Infancy�, �A Mother Remembers�, �Autumn�, �Parent�s Love�, �We Owe It to Our Children�, �My Intimate Partner� and �How to Catch a Wife�, as well as Mandarin films like �The Big Circus�, �Till the End of Time�, �Unfinished Melody� and �Farewell My Love�.
