Ivy fills in time with Louie, and ex-boyfriend with whom she is still friends, and a group of girlfriends she shares a student dormitory with. But the telegrams and messages dry up. The phone rings but no-one is there. Suspicion creeps in, and love fades for Ivy. Chiu Ching reappears suddenly. He has, in fact, been visiting his wife. Ivy and Chiu Ching have a tense dinner date, where this issue is discussed. Chiu Ching only wants Ivy. She is over him. Chiu Ching becomes agitated as Ivy storms off. Over the next few days, Chiu Ching approaches Ivy's dorm mates for information on her whereabouts, but they shield her. Chiu Ching's credentials as a nasty piece of work has already been established, but he then starts killing off Ivy's dorm mates, one by one.......
