Gambler's War

Summary: Awful

A big mistake if you are planning on seeing this. One of the cheapest, and boring films I have ever seen out of Hong Kong. It's sort of Wu Ma's attempt to break into the gambling genre, but this fell flat on its face.

Summary: 2/10-You call THIS a Cat III?

Are you serious, this is a Cat III film? I thought it was a Cat II or something. There's hardly any gruesome violence, and neither is there ranchy sex scenes.

Well, apart from the beginning which has been so well described :) all you get is a chick who jumps up and down fighting bad guys.

Summary: Terrible

Opens well. A rich man's (Guk Fung) party is interrupted by gangsters who do him in. The moment Guk Fung's character dies, the movie dies with him. And this is the opening scene.

The remainder is mostly dull melodrama, of the daughter's predicament and actions. I gave up on this dull crap about 40 minutes in, so I may have missed what might have justified the Cat III rating. Anyone else brave enough is welcome to review the rest !
