Tommy Chin's one-off horror film about a movie director haunted by demon's he disturbed while on a night shoot is an abject failure. It was a good idea to cast the young and handsome Simon Yam in the lead but he appears to be sleepwalking, or in a daze, in the movie. This one is strictly for those few Yam completists only.

Summary: Occasionally scary, mostly dull

If you like watching Simon Yam, you may well like this film. He is onscreen for about 3/4 of the film, and the story is built around his character.

There are a few scenes which are quite creepy. Newton Lai comes back several times, fighting off snaking pieces of film which are strangling him. And the scene where a girl is strangled while being dragged downstairs is quite unsettling.

But the whole story seems pointless. Most of it consists of Simon being pursued. His efforts to fight back are puny, and the ending made me wonder why I bothered watching till the end.
