Reviewed by: jfierro Date: 12/21/1999 In a battle over a magical egg, Sandra Ng and her evil uncle (YuenWah) accidentally turn a monkey into a human (Kenny Bee). Not only does Sandra manage to teach the monkey how to act like a human, but he goes on to fall in love with a beautiful animal trainer (Nina Li). This movie starts out with a lot of crass bodily-function jokes and the standard super-Taoist gags from Sandra Ng. Things looked to get a worse when Kenny Bee showed up portraying a monkey in human form. At first I cringed in embarrassment for poor Kenny, but soon I realized that the best parts of this movie were the scenes with Kenny and Nina. Not a terrible movie by any means, but could have been a lot better without the Sandra Ng subplot.
