Summary: Looks cheap
Promising mix. The lovely Irene Wan in the lead, with an early appearance by Francis Ng, and the luscious Man So.

But the production has an awful cheap look about it. The unpleasant lack of chemistry between the two leads put me off as well. I tuned out after 30 minutes, so I wasn't able to comment on Steve's claim that things pick up later.
Even having the production filmed in Thailand didn't seem to help.

Irene Wan ends up with some diamonds stolen from a triad lord, and cop Roy Cheung has been threatened to retrieve them, or else. Their cat-and-mouse journey takes them to civil war-torn Burma, where they dodge mortar blasts and help out the rebels. Routine, but finally picks up after forty minutes or so.
