Summary: YIKES

You can tell this movie is dated when Chow Yun fat cheats on his fiance and she takes him back too easily!! Won't happen in any movies nowadays...........

Some laughs but nothing but a rountine movie with a few relationships hurdles, a little dull but watchable if you got nothing else to do.

Summary: Mostly awful

I have to agree with the other reviewers, except that Chow's character does not pretend to be gay - he simply puts on a mincing manner. This surely ranks among the great Chow's worst performances. I challenge anyone to find Chow's demeaning treatment of DoDo to be humorous. More likely to inspire you to punch him in the chops.

Better was the story of Raymond Wong and Petrina Fung's characters. Quite charming and endearing, actually.

The one good part of this film, actually it is a great part, is the finale. A hilarious parody of Chinese Opera, where two estranged lovers are pushed together by their friends whilst performing in full costume. Wonderful stuff. The belly laughter of the star-studded audience appears to be genuine.

Pity about most of the rest.

Summary: Painful

I recall spending the entire movie wanting to beat CYF's character for being so rotten to his flight attendant girlfriend. I don't recall much in the way of humour. Cherie Cheung's character is, like CYF's, also unlikeable. In fact, most of the characters fall somewhere between unlikeable and uninteresting. NOT a good CYF comedy.

It's actually about three brothers and their romances. The Oldest is a some TV women show host. The middle is Mr Chow, who acts like a fairy and gets all the chicks. The youngest one is played by Jacky Cheung and he is a comic artist.
