Summary: Bringing in the young and old exiting

This is the last installment of Buddah Palm era and the introduction of 2 bright young stars - Chan Bo Chu and Siao Fong Fong. By this time, Lung Kim Fei played by Tao Dat Wah has become the best of the best martial artist - and he is unbeatable but one more time - let Big Foot get him. This introduce Siao Lung Nu played by Siao Fong Fong who has a good heart but must do what she is told by her sifu Shek Kin - who must take revenge. Supposedly she is to go and do some sabotage. Enroute she meets up with Chan Po Chu who is suppose to be part human and part ape - of course, she looks totally human. The build up of their friendship is cute and puts a smile to your face and heart.

After Siao's sifu practices the big foot technique, she is poisoned by her sifu with a centipede- drum beat, centipede bites. Of course, our great hero saves her and finally figures a way to deal with Big Foot - thanks to siao knowing how.

Unfortunatley, Chan did not have as much air time as Siao but her presence in the movie was important and entertaining.

This movie really did not connect with Buddah Palm but more of an entry of the new people and the old exiting

Summary: Nice early martial arts/fantasy film

This film is a sequel to Buddha's Palm (Part 4), and begins where that film ended. About half the fighting in this film is martial arts, the other half is pure fantasy, where the fighters hold out their hands and animated force waves are used for attacking.

For me, the film has two memorable aspects:

Connie Chan Po-Chu, who was raised by monkeys, and fights accordingly.

Sek Kin and his giant foot.
