Summary: Fast paced sequel to 1985 original

Scott Wylde (Loren Avedon) is an American taekwondo expert and college grad in Thailand to visit his fiancee, Sulin (Patra Wanthivanond). When she is kidnapped by a gang of thugs, Scott is framed for murder but escapes the police. Joining with his former teacher Mac (Max Thayer) and high kicking helicopter pirate Terry (Cynthia Rothrock), Scott heads to Cambodia, where he, Mac, and Terry prepare to take on the alliance of Vietnamese troops and Soviet troops, led by Yuri (Matthias Hues).

Underrated in-name sequel featuring some nice action scenes courtesy of Avedon and Rothrock. Rothrock gets to take on the phenom Hwang Jang-Lee in one sequence with another highlight being the heroic trio taking on a band of phony monks.

For his film film debut, German-born Matthias Hues did a good job as Yuri the Russian. He didn't know martial arts prior but was a natural athlete and after his training for this film, decided to stick to learning martial arts and would be a veteran villain in some of Hollywood's B-movies of the 1990's.

A fun ride that combines war and martial arts mayhem.
